San Francisco, Minnesota, and Northern California travel and aerial photography from July 2023, featuring cityscapes, landscapes, aviation, waterways, weather, and distinctive views photographed from the air and on the ground. The collection ranges from San Francisco architecture, waterfront scenes, Oracle Park, and San Francisco International Airport to sweeping aerial views of Minneapolis, the Mississippi River, lakes, parks, communities, and transportation infrastructure across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Northern California aerial photography includes Pleasanton, Danville, Livermore, Lathrop, San Joaquin County farmland, Los Vaqueros Reservoir, Clifton Court Forebay, Byron Airport, and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Minnesota photographs feature the Minneapolis skyline, Bde Maka Ska, Lake Harriet, Fort Snelling State Park, Hastings, Spring Lake Park Reserve, Pine Bend Refinery, Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, and the Mississippi River corridor. The gallery also includes dramatic supercell thunderstorms and cloud formations photographed from the air, along with aircraft, airport runways, and aviation scenes encountered during the journey.
San Francisco photographs include the Civic Center neighborhood, Parc 55, South Beach and the Port of San Francisco, Mission Rock, Oracle Park, and city and waterfront views during Dead & Company’s Final Tour weekend. These photographs document the broader atmosphere, architecture, skyline, and setting surrounding the event rather than close-up concert performance photography.
