Chicago Harbor Lighthouse on Lake Michigan

Chicago Harbor Lighthouse is photographed from close range on Lake Michigan at the Chicago Harbor entrance in Chicago, Illinois. Visible features include the white conical cast-iron tower, red-roofed fog-signal room and boathouse, stone-faced pier, North Breakwater, and the east breakwater across the entrance channel in subtle sunset light. Built in 1893, the tower was moved to its present site and reconstructed in 1917–18.
